Our Story

Africa Infused was born through combining three of my passions: Sharing new ideas through consulting, the breathtaking beauty of Africa and the astonishing diversity of the craft beverage market.

Inspired by the talent and passion that is found within the South African Gin industry, I wanted to showcase the pride, hope and celebration that is South Africa.  To communicate this excellence, I wanted to create a unique South African experience that people will remember.

At Africa Infused, we believe that local is lekker, and to that end, we help our clients develop their own, unique identity that is intrinsically African.

After leaving university I co-founded a training and development consultancy. Many years later the business is still providing consulting and training services to a wide range of organisations.

The design and facilitation of learning material has always been a key part of my career. I love teaching people new skills and sharing new concepts. Now, at Africa Infused I consult with and advise clients on their liquor and beverage choices, based on a comprehensive understanding of their unique environment and clientele. I then train staff (bar staff, waiters, field guides and managers) in the history and production of South African craft market, the serving techniques and ways to garnish with African plants.

In 2017 I started doing work in the Craft Gin industry and in the past five years, small producers have embraced the craft beverage market and begun producing an excellent selection of local South African Gins, Whiskey, Brand, Rums and liqueurs. Foreign guests should be encouraged to enjoy these creations as part of their African experience. My team and I look forward to helping you create an extraordinary craft bar experience for your clients.
